Well it would have done anyway, if Cech had been sent off, and Cudiccinni had come on to face the resultant penalty from cold. So shut ya feckin' whinin'
Think about it ...??? the ref had to make a split second decision - allow the goal, or award a penalty and risk a goal - send off the keeper- have them play the next 86mins with 10 men plus potential extra time...... oh, and 'if' Chelsea had of won, a red card would have made the keeper inelligiable for the final.
given all the parameters, it wasnt a bad decision after all, even if the ball was '4.3'cm short of being 'fully' across the line....
about as long as this line ---------------

I wouldn't worry about it. Chelsea weren't good enough to beat 8 defenders camped on the goal line. Our resident Liverpool fans here at work don't really care if the team can actually play football, just as long as they get a result.
If they get a quick flukey goal (ala Chelski) then I'm sure they'll sit on the lead yet again.
PSV are the 'real' champions in my books and should've finished off Milan last night. Hopefully Milan will remember that they can play footy and finish off Liverpool in the final.
It would be nice to see an English team lift a European Cup again, but Liverpool have some talent yet show very little of it on the field. If someone could teach them how to pass ***** properly without panicing they might get on better.
And would someone please tell them that long ***** to Baros don't fecking work !!! God, sometimes players should be shot (OK, maybe fined) for not being able to pass a ball along the ground.

Just look at how far back he had to swing his leg to kick the ball back out

For an accurate assessment if it was a goal would be for the bar to be dead level with the line. Anything from an angle is inconclusive.

I didn't give a FF whether it was over the line or not and I still don't. The score at the end was all that mattered... 1 - 0 to Liverpool and they're in CL Final in Istanbul and Chelsea aren't.

Indeed, but it if we do, we get get to keep the cup.
UEFA rules state that when a club wins the competition five times, or three times on the run, they keep the trophy for good and a new replica is produced.
Reckon Chelsea will ever be able to?
