"Did the best team win ?" - Possibly not on the night but its the scoreline that counts. Roll on Istanbul, I think that it is in the stars!

Fair play to you Paul our 'friends' at the other end of the East Lancs could learn a lot from you and your team, about grace in defeat

Very disappointed at losing a goal very early on to you again, and as you showed against Juve you sure can hold on to a lead. Why dont you play like that in the Premiership, 33 points behind us?

Just think of the terrible injury problems Liverpool have endured this season. They have been without key players for a vast amount of the season.

They didn't 'buy' the Premier title like Chelsea have.

To me, it was a chronically boring game, and it was like watching a FA Cup game between a prem side and a second division side. I've never seen such negative tactics...if thats what European football is now then it's such a shame.

Liverpool are playing at home for christ sake yet they sat back with 2 rows of 4 behind the ball for nearly the entire game. I think Moronho was right saying that the best team lost.

also, I don't see how buying the title is any worse than boring your way to a cup win

Utter b0ll0x. Tactics won the game. Rafa just was a better tactician than that scruffy Mourinho, he looked like a tramp. Boring or not, LFC are in the Final and CFC aren't, who cares how they got there.

Man U fan here...
Redkops right - tactics won the game - Liverpool and especially Carragher where top drawer... Chelsea had one shot on target in 180 minutes (source 5 live radio) in that Euro semi final... Had the slightly dubious goal not been given Cech was off and keeper number 2 from cold would have been facing a penalty...
I still think AC Milan will win the final but who knows... Maybe the its written in the stars for the bin dippers...
Well done Mickey's - hope you had a good night and your heads hort this morn!

Ooh, the irony This from a man whose team, under George Graham, bored their way through more League and FA Cup campaigns than I care to recall

Laugh? I nearly did

A question,

How many saves did Dudek make over two legs, how many did Cech.

We did not exactly play an attacking game but we probably generated more chances over the tie.

And he did look like a tramp - a very expensively dressed tramp

And.....

We are in the final and you're not (sorry !)

I have agreed with everthing you have said, and congratulated Liverpool on winning, no need to be sorry

I mentioned once he looked like a tramp... hardly getting carried away is it? It was an observation.

Nothing to do with Carling Cup why I haven't been on SN. You'll find I have been low key on SN way before that.
