Default Sti exhaust, how much will i have to pay?

How much roughly should it cost to get a 2nd hand sti exhaust for new age? Also the car is on 54 plate will it be possible to use one from the cars 2001 onwards or did they change a bit?

Not sure, depends on price!

May go the whole system if not too expensive but was really only after back box.

You can get some much nicer exhausts for the same money. Or are you after the 'factory' look?

UK or JDM car?
AFAIK if its a JDM exhaust you wont have the cat in the center section, where as on a uk car you will, this may put the price up.

Sold my sti backbox for a tenner.
The guys who fitted my PPP (dealer near chelmsford) said that they just throw them in the skip. Have a word with your local subaru mechanic and you may get one free.

The sti backbox from 2001 will fit any newage wrx or sti.

Just been quoted £100 inc del.

These arent stainless steel tho, so bit worried about how long they last. Maybe should think about another type, any suggestions, needs to be quiet tho due to work.

Needs to look the part as well, subtle but gorgeous about 3 inches finar finar

Vicki,
These will last a long time, most subaru exhausts do (acutally most original exhausts last 6+ years) so at 100 inc del its a bargain
