Default Where's all the shell garages gone?

Local garage in Redcar about a mile down the road from me has now switched to Total and I've been told another 2 in Darlington have gone the same way. I now have to make a 20mile round trip just to fill up!

Is BP ultimate as good as optimax?

Nope.
BP 97 Ron, Optimax in excess of 98 I believe.

Mac.

Do you know the ron rating of the total super unleaded?

On the shell search they are still showing the one which was close to me being a shell garage and the 2 in Darlington.

What else is there to bear in mind apart from the ron rating?

I also noticed the 98 on the top of the Total super unleaded pump in Redcar, is this def the octane rating??, if so would anyone use it?? Simon the shell garage in Guisbrough is still open and with brand new signs and pumps!!! presumably you mean you go to this one anyway?
