A few years ago J Clarkson Esq said, tongue in cheek I think!, that an astramax van was the fastest thing on the road. The van then proceeded to blow-off a Lotus Esprit or some other "exotic" motor. Well now it's maybe not so far from the truth. At the recent commercial vehicle show they showed a Astravan 888 turbo. "Packing 240hp from the firm's own 2-litre turbocharged petrol engine the astravan can reach 62mph in under 7 seconds motoring on to 150mph. Stiff suspension, aerodynamic body kit and 17-inch alloys [they look like OZs) add to driver appeal."

Unfortunately it doesn't look as if this one comes in white though.
