With Liverpool at the moment virtually anything is possible, I think that we can win it again, not because we are necessarily that good, but because sometimes we just seem to be able to produce excellent performances when it matters. Who knows, but it's definetly a possibility and we do appear to have history on our side

Awesome performance by 'the reds', and without a full strength squad ......fairplay-like Everton, just goes to show what hard work can do for you.

What ever happens, for 2 more games at least they're still in it ...... all credit lads, it wasnt the best display of football, some daft give aways, and at least 1 definate lucky escape....... but hey, thru..!!! thats all that matters.

At least the Stamford Bridge game is first, I wouldn't have fancied taking a home leg slender lead, like we had against Juve back to Mother Russia for the second leg

Yeah righty, even St Jose admits it's time you lost to us. Plus, I don't think he'll risk asking Gerrard to bang another one in for you

He wont need to ask Stevie boy, he's already under contract

Now I am a Chelsea fan through & through so you may think I am bias, which is true enough , "BUT".
Liverpool have showed a sh*t load of weaknesses in the premiership this season, and some sort of spirit in the Champ's League, which is cool for the fan's.
But I personally think that the true scouser's and the plastic scouser's(there the one's that want the mighty chelsea to lose), are convinced that because this is a champ's league semi final they will walk it as it's "their year" apparently!. There's nothing wrong with a bit of faith, but please, there are statistician's out there that can find a path for an outcome of any given situation if looked hard enough for, and 99.9% the actual outcome of these prediction's is total Bo**ox, and the other.1% is luck!!, trust me, supporting the chels for 30 odd year's gets you used to looking to the heavan's for some answers
Now if they were playing Bayern I would give them a good chance of making the final, but this game will be a classic premiership clash of two great team's with a lot at stake, well one great team and an OK' ish team , make your own mind up.
So too cut a long one short, will Liverpool bottle it because they have lost 3 games to chelsea this season so far, or will they finally realise they have had an easy run to the semi's. Either way is good
The main thing that worries me though is that there will be 2 x premiership teams going all out for a big prize, but there will be 3 x johnny's(pm for explanation, dont want to be called a euro racist) making the decision's on "dodgy tackle's etc.
Whatever happen's it should be a great game.

PS. I understand that Gerrard, is not on the payroll just yet, but there is a special bonus scheme set up that pays out a lump sum for own goal's scored, especially for his future pal's, so get ya money down boy's & girl's, bet the odd's aint as high as you think. See 1st comment.

Chelsea 3 - Liverpool 1

Gerrard 88 Gerrard 87(pen), bonus revoked, but makes amend's
Gerrard 89
Gerrard 90
Drogba 98, Drogba get's a late one, as the ref's watch is still on euro time and is not quite sure how to use these new UEFA digital jobbie's handed out at the ....

"let's try and f*ck chelsea's season up as much as we can, even though we know as much about football as Fergie, Wenger & Benitez does about where their players will be starting next season, and the fact that we get paid far too much money for doing f*ck all, but deserve it for some reason"
Dinner & dance the night before, look's at the stars for the euro way of timing a match and is intrigued to see a strange haze in the sky, known normally as cloud's(or smog, depending on your upbringing I suppose ), and is totally confused by the whole scenario.

Opinions on the game last night.

Not the best game in the world, but kept me watching.

Strange having two English teams playing a european tie, especially a semi final!

Think it was a fair result, although I would have preferred 1-1.

Jose started on the mind games straight after the game, can't see Drogba lasting very long at Chelsea, what would you give to have Zola back in there?

If Liverpool had played an Italian side and got a 0-0, everybody would say it was a great first leg result, but because it's against an English side, it doesn't seem to have got the same reaction.

Come on Liverpool.

Applied for final tickets through the Uefa.com ballot, just checked my credit card and they've taken the money, so either I've got a couple of tickets or I've been robbed!

Hopefully it'll be Liverpool who get there, It's in Istanbul though!
Anybody got any body armour?

An away goal would have been nice, but if someone had said it would finish 0-0 before the kick off I'd have PMSL at them Towards the end IMO the match had more of an air of a relegation scrap than a CL semi I'm praying now for the seemingly infallible, undoubtedly awesome Petr Cech to pick next Tuesday to finally have a bad day

A bit of consistent refereeing wouldn't go amiss for the second leg, Alonso's booking was outrageous, but on the whole I think both teams shared the poor decisions 50/50

A difficult one to judge whether its a good result for us or not? good that we haven't conceded an away goal but a bit miffed we couldn't score either. Good chances for both sides. Chelsea still slight favourites?
