Question

Partly a duplication of a previous thread, but I can't find it by searching.

1) What's the rules over GB stickers in France - I understand they are required, but are the number plates with "GB" at the front a "legal" alternative? What sort of cost have people found these at - is it cheaper through dealers or places like Halfords?

2) Stupid question time - coming from mortal cars, I am used to applying a Headlight Reflector before motoring abroad - with Scooby, no lens pattern, the glass on the headlight is completely clear - how do you adjust them, is it necessary, does anyone bother?

Cheers
Nick

Not sure if EU plates for Britain are legal yet, best option is to either use a magnetic GB plate, or a sticky one applied to the rear window, as it'll be easier to remove.

With regards to the beam corrector, when you buy them they usually have a leaflet inside detailing where to apply them individually for cars with lights like the Impreza (Ford Puma, Fiat Coupe etc.) You don't have to buy a special kit or anything

Don't forget about all the other gubbins you might need as well - bulb kit, etc.

Happy continental motoring

Have a look at the RAC's site - it tells you what you need to carry

Question

Good advice on the GB plates.

I looked out the Headlight converter kits in Halfords and they didn't have instructions for Impreza's - had them for a Justy though!

I like the spare bulb kit from Halfords as well, velcros nicely into the compartment for the jack.
