Default A tomtom go question

if your on a busy motorway and you want to exit to use the a and b roads would your unit try to get you back on the motorway as it thinks its the best route

You can get it to recalculate using a different route. If you just pull off it will keep trying to put you back on until it realises you are actually closer to your destination, then it will recalculate automatically.

They're good, I've got 6!!! (in all the company vehicles) I think a new software version is comming out soon which will have full postcode and a few other tweeks as well

On tom tom nav v3.0, you can do "alternative route" on the go. Don't know if this applies to the "go" though.

try using "avoid part of route" / roadblock if you're before a junction and see if directs you off the m-way

or keep getting it to recalculate an alternative until you're happy

or put a navigate via in which is on the non m-way route

etc

TomTom - when's the update coming out, hint, hint?
