I've seen this mentioned before, but is an STi steering wheel and airbag assembly an easy swap into a WRX..? Both 05 MY cars..?

I have a STi8 steering wheel in my garage to fit into my Bugeye but not the time to get it fitted

They can be fitted ........

I know the 05 STi wheel fits all previous to 05 newage WRX cars, but the loom is needed to make the job easier - although an extra hole on the loom support bracket is needed.
The 05 WRX has a wheel the same diameter as the 05 STi, but I haven't had a chance to see if the looms are the same as well.
One way or another, the STi wheel will fit though.

If you can get a picture of the airbag connections plus the loom support bracket then I can give a bit of help on what's needed.

I saw a new 'take off' on ebay and it made me think. As said the diameter of the 05 cars is now the same, it's just the centre badge on the wrx is a bit naff..!
