Just bought a STI 7 intercooler to go on a MY99 UK Turbo, just a few questions (think i know most of what i need 2 do) :

1) Will i need the STI 7 brackets or can my originals be bent to fit
2) Can i retain the original STI 7 D/V (i know u cant on older classics but never seen it done on a MY99 and i know i have a little more space because of the phase 2 manifold)

Will there be enough space for the original sti7 dump valve to fit or will i need to mod the intercooler?

 

I couldn't get the sti7 dv to fit it was fouling the ignition block. but i have seen one fitted to a classic so it must be something to do with tolerences. mine defo won't fit thats on a P1.
I've still got dv if u want it cost me £10 + pp

Dont need a D/V already got one my also be selling mine aswell soon.
