as title! im uprating to sti5 I/C from the crappy slanted one! will i need a inner vent from an sti5/6 at all??

On an STi 5 bonnet the additional two vents are blanked off.
Under normal conditions if you open the vents by removing the blanking plates you will increase the under bonnet temperature.
If you are running an STi 5 top mount you will get better results if you fit the matching ducting plate that fits under the vent ie. the main bonnet scoop.
