I have seen one or two Sti's with PPP asthetic and performance pack for sale registered early 2002 but from info led to believe these were not avaiable until late in that year. Regarding MY 2003 (version 8) is the high level spoiler standard on a standard Sti. Also noted a 'blobeye' registered 2003, is that possible

 

Right here goe's, im not sure but i think the high spoiler was standard on all my03 sti's, and i think all my 03's are blobeye's (mine is) BUGEYE'S as they call them are year 02's.

 

As above, high spoiler std on 03on cars (blobeye) they also get suspension and chassis changes.

Some blobeyes were actually registered as 52s, so all 03s should be blobs.

Bugeye STIs were available from 02 onwards, in two forms: the standard STI and the Prodrive style. The PPP became avaioable on either version shortly thereafter. It's importnant not the confuse the aesthetic Prodrive body kit with whether or not the car has a PPP. It makes no difference which model it is.

Edited to add - there is only one body style for blobeyes. Whether or not the car has a PPP is a different matter...
