power steering resevoir

Default power steering resevoir

Can any one tell me if the seals on power steering resvoirs are common to leaking and dripping on exhaust and where you can get them from as dealers dont like import cars any one ....

I have been told this is quite common.....well mine does it!!!

Main dealers don't like imports but they can order parts for them. Just bully them a bit!!

Had the same problem a while back. If the car is old then a groove could be worn on the pump shaft, if this is the case then a new seal is no good. I sourced a second hand pump from www.gradea-subaru.co.uk. No problems anymore.

i had the same problem with mine leaking but after 2 attempts at stripping down and some good old liquid gasget the second attempt seems to have done the trick no more leaking.

only trouble is its a very messy job!!
