Are there jap import impreza sports in the UK?
just fecking buy on, or do a search on this said item , imports are better than standard uk modals , apart from they have no history , unless your lucky and it has some, + their more costly to insure,,,.

I'm not aware of there being many grey import non-turbo Imprezas in the UK. People tended to import the turbo cars from Japan because of the better spec (and, at the time when there was a long waiting list in the UK, better availability). There was never such an incentive to import the non-turbo cars.
You can always tell by checking the chassis number. Japanese-spec cars are of the form GCx-nnnnnn, while official UK cars' numbers are much longer.

The answer is no; the 'Sport' is an International Motors (the importers) specification vehicle built just for our market. Its purpose was to fleece owners who couldnt afford an AWD Turbo at the height of its popularity, when they were taking the **** on price to the fullest degree; the resulting model was vastly over priced too...
