From: Hampshire - now trying an M3
replacing the std headers on an '01 bugeye for a mate.
Do we need to keep the front sensor in the headers ? ?
the new ported headers don't have a thread for it ?
Or do we need drill a hole and weld a bolt in place to take the sensor ? ?
cheers !

Newage cars have two O2 sensors - one in the headers and one in the first part of the centre section.
The exhaust sensor is in the uppipe, just before the turbo.
The first O2 sensor is the important one, so you'll need a hole in them I'm afraid.
