Type R rear discs?
I've been after these for a while aswell, Ian at Godspeed said he can do them, but we discovered the disc's he had where for the r160 diff so smaller rear drum.
However I was told he got hold of some that will fit about 2 weeks ago but I dont know what they look like as he has not responded to my e-mails yet.
I also think DBA may have a disc that will fit.
And £250 sounds about right.

Here you go http://www.dba.com.au/dba_catalogue_...Out/Subaru.pdf DBA No. 656.
Dont know the price but http://www.jap-innovations.co.uk/ may do as they are an agent for DBA.
Who did you get the quote from if you dont mind me asking?

To be honest grooved discs on the rear are not worth it IMHO especially at that price.
Most braking is on the fronts with little on the rear, may as well go for standard discs with a decent pad.
Type R's use a vented 290mm disc with a 190mm drum for the R180 diff.
Stockcar sourced me some discs for about £140ish but sold the car in the meantime
