So i fitted a samco inlet pipe
now this is a bit strange
i could swear that when driving my car now, the exhaust sounds louder
yea i can hear the turbo chattering and whishing a lot more, but i can also hear sum more noise coming from the rea opf the car?
the only thing i changed was the inlet pipe, i didnt tell anybody incase they thought i was mad
but tonight i took my dad to an engagement party and he said "have you been tinkering again, it sounds louder inside the car"
is there a proper technical explanation for it?
i was not even driving moderate when my dad noticed

your dad probably picked up up on your poor fitting samco hose
if it was fitted properly and not jubilee clipped up
the car might sound right
i havent noticed any other noise from the car after changing the inlet pipe, the only strange noise i heard was my gearbox breaking

but im sure your ok

they can be easy to fit them if you shift the power steering out of the way and rip the stander pipe out (destroying it)
if you have one of the stronger less flexibale pipes from MRT or simmiler im led to belive that you need to remove the inlet manifold, (not a massive job but a touch fiddly here and there)
