Had new clutch 5000 mls ago which is about 18mths ago.It now
seems that i only have half a clutch as if its not connected.
Topped the fluid up as was on min ,hoped that would sort but its still same.
Its also seems juddery on pull away when warm.Tryed a few launches but that never worked.......lol

Any ideas appreciated

I was in the car the other day, and the clutch does feel fcuked to be honest (from the passenger seat. Mouse says the clutch is biting by the floor, where as mine is biting at the top of the peddle travel

It's juddering like **** at the moment. Could this be crap on the flywheel?

I'll vouch for the high speed launch not working, he'd just dropped me off and headed off. What a racket

A new gearbox has recently been fitted, and was wondering if this had anything to do with it?

Thanks in advance, please solve this soon otherwise Mouse will be stealing my RB5 or Legacy

Sounds clutch orientated tbh. You didnt spill anything on it did you?

Sounds like the material has gone thin, and is possibly on the rivets?

I have an '03 Sti and my clutch is being replaced this Thursday.

Apparently there was a recall/repair bulletin sent out for the fly wheels causing severe judder when cold. So the fly wheel needs replacing which in turn means the clutch has to be done as well.

I can not wait to get the new one in as it judders like a b4stard!

I know all about this, as I had mine done on my MY 00 under warrenty. Although the juddering is similiar it's not what Mouse is experiencing in his car. Drove his car at the weekend, and it terrible. Almost like there isn't really a clutch on the car now!!

Thanks for the advise though, Phill

Steven,

I do think your right to be honest with you mate, and appreciate you posting on this thread. Always can be difficult after selling Mouse the gearbox, but I think your absolutely correct and the gearbox isn't at fault.

Oh no, looks like the gearbox will have to come out again

Thanks Phill
