Lightbulb vf35 with fmic

Hi

I have a bugeye wrx with powerstation headers, fuel pump, sports cat dp, hks hiper and tek 3

I have a vf35, sti injectors and sti intercooler (with large scoop and aps spliter) sat in the garage but the intercooler has a large golf ball sized dent in it, I ve had to tooth pick 25% of the the fins open

now after cleaning the engine and fitting a full set of samcos, I keep looking at the intercooler thinking no chance and scrapping it

question is,

If I was to fit a aps front mount would this improove on the road performance
I know I should change the turbo but I will wait till \ if I can afford a 6 speed

I will probably get the car mapped with 100ml of NF if that matters
cheers

Rich

You wouldn't need to change the turbo as the 35 is quite good, but you would need to get a remap as the cooler charge would need to be compensated for and would make more reliable power than the top mount.

Long term, and for bigger power, the FMIC is the way to go, but i would look at an STi8 TMIC in the meantime if you dont want to fork out loads.
