Question 1994 WRX Clutch Spec please !!

Urgent help for a m8 please. He has a 1994 L plate WRX Scooby which was imported from Japan when it was 3 years old. He has owned it ever since and now it needs its first clutch at 124,000 miles !!! It slips like mad at the moment but he is trying to find out if it it is a 225mm dia or 230mm dia clutch. He has looked in loads of places for info but they seem to contradict each other. Obvioulsy he could take the old one out but its the old story of needing the car during the week so it will have to be a weekend job. As no one stocks a clutch in the local area he will have to order one so he wants to make sure its the right thing when the box comes off (bit annoying to find its the wrong one at 5.00pm on a Saturday afternoon !!).

Thanks in advance

Nick

I was informed when i had this problem that ALL clutch / flywheel sizes upto bugeye were the same ( although the STi's were 1/2 inch bigger AND these would fit WRX's if the matching clutch was fitted! ) and I bought a 2nd hand 1998 UK flywheel which AS Performance lightened for me and went on fine with my MY94 jap engine and AP Racing organic clutch for that era...

Seems almost any will do?

Yep, any classic clutch will fit the MY94, just get the matching cover
