Default Sti PPP with different backbox and/or panel filter, advice please.

Hi all,

have ordered my new STi with PPP. However I have a lovely Afterburner Vortex backbox and STi panel filter, from my old MY03 STi.

The question is...... whill these mess up the PPP performance? Has anyone done either of these mods on PPP'd STi, or can anyone with technical knowledge give an opinion?

Thanks,

Dan

Not technical so can not answer your question but if you decide not to keep the BB and Filter I would be interested in these.

I am sure someone will answer your question.

The filter I will almost definitely keep. The BB is only 6 months old and in perfect nick. Will bear your offer in mind.

Cheers mate,

Dan

COME ON!!!! Someone must have changed their backbox on the PPP STi!

No. The PPP will be fine. The PPP backbox is quite free flowing, so don't expect much of a performance gain fron the Vortex, but do enjoy the noise Any fueling or induction variance due to either the filter or BB will quickly be compensated for by the learning map.
