Best thing to do is ask as many questions from all the very helpful guys and gals here on Scoobynet. Don't rush in and please remember that a scoob is for life, not just until you can't afford to run her anymore!
I'm on my 4th Scoob now and really wouldn't want any motor on the road (within my means).
Test drive plenty, get a feel for the difference between nosebleed imports and models more refined for UK roads.
