car is a uk MY97 Turbo with little modifications with just under 101K on the clock.
Upon changing to 2nd gear last night there was an awful burrrrring sound. when i disengaged the clutch it dissapeared but turned into an awful scratching/clonking sound as the wheels went round, when it was in gear, but went when the clutch was dipped. still drives in every gear but sounds really loud in 1st/2nd but still audiable in 3/4/5th.
any ideas?

anyone have a spare they can sell

just had another look the clonking sound still there when clutch engaged in neutral
