Hi everybody,

I looked around but I could not find the exact type of turbo and the exhaust (how many catalysts) the Type25 has. Anyone can point me to a good thread I would appreciated it. Also any pics of th car engine bay, the turbo on and off the car and pics of the exhaust from underneath the car?

afaik, the exhaust is a milltek system, with one cat in the downpipe (sportcat).

The turbo is a standard JDM STI turbo, nothing changed on this.(twin scroll)

 

The Turbo is changed but the Turbo is still Twin Scroll style.

Thanks fellows. Since I am not looking to buy one (I wish I could but I am in the US) I do not expect Litchfiled Imports to open up their books an publish all the details.

But hey I can ask

So Iain did you guys use a VF36 with an standard upgraded wheel (make it effectivelly a PE1825 or a custom wheel? )? (Do you do any porting and polishing)

Is the shortblock a standard 2.5 liter block? (like the USDM, with stock internals?)
Are the heads JDM standard ones? (Limiter at 8k right? any port and polish or upgraded springs? )

By the way is it based on the 04 STi? Are you making a run for the 05 STi (diff front diff type, diff wheel spacing etc...).

And finally is there any thought of making a run for the US?
