Default Baby Seat !!!!

Right the wife wants to go out and get our nipper a new car seat as he is just to big for the one that came with the buggy, it's to go in a MY93 JDM WRX I don't really want a forward facing one as when he falls asleep I don't ant his head to be flopping forwards & from side to side he is getting on for eight months but he is a big baby not fat just big ( takes after me ).

Now I know there are problems with fitting seats in the rears so your help would be very grateful

Wah

Mornin!

What we did was to go to Toys R Us and they let you try different types/makes seats in your car which worked for us also they had someone trained in the fitting of babyseats to help us try them which was a good idea. I am sure Mothercare etc do the same

My little girl was in a forward facing seat from around 8 months. We have got both the britax eclipse and britax renaissance both fit into the car really well. Both seats have a reclining feature so no problems with the little uns head flopping about. Britax also do a car seat that is both rearward and forward facing, and should last up to the age of 3 or 4.

I actually work for a baby goods shop so I know the britax is a good fit for the scooby but any decent baby shop sould let you try out the seats in your car before you decide to buy.

Happy shopping

Thumbs up

Mothercare definately test fit the seats for you if you ask them to.

We have just got a Maxi Cosi Priori XP, which is forward facing but reclines well to stop the baby's head flopping around too much. It's also really easy to use if just one of you are putting the kid in the car.

Cheers.

I have the Britax Renaissance, fits fine, and as said, the recline feature helps to support there head while sleeping.

Gets my vote!

I've got a pair of Britax Duo ISOFIX seats - MY05 though...

Variable recline action just encourages my son to boot lumps out of the back of my chair, so he sits up straight and behaves himself.

Aye right.
