Right..

I orded a Yellow top battery, which I received today and installed it but, tried to start the engine and had to keep the key in the starting position for quite a while until it got up and running.
Took it for a 5-10 min journey, when I tried to start it up again, the same thing happened. I've tried to start it again just now, and it still does the same thing.

Just wanted to know, should I have charged it up first, using a battery charger, or should it have started the car even without charging? Seeing as it is a top spec battery and brand new, why does it not start the car straight away?

When i bought mine, worked straight away...i would take it back..!

Up to today has never dies on me, even after hours and hours of listening to music with the car off...

 

I'm gonna try and charge and see what happens. If it doesn't work then I'll send it back.

Took the car on the M1 for a while yesterday and it seems to have solved the problem.
