probably another daft question , but my STI PPP with pd springs definatly feels a harder ride the colder it gets , as i work nights the ride home at 4 in the morning is a lot harsher than going in at tea time, ( sometimes a big drop in temperature )
could it be oil in dampers thickens ?
tyre sidewall gets harder ?
springs get harder the colder it gets ?
anyone else noticed this , or is it me
flame suit ready

Couldn't comment on the mechanical implications of the temperature mate, but your suggestions seem perfectly sensible. I would suggest a psychological possibility: i.e that at 4am your tired bones are more predisposed to notice the STi's firm suspension, than they would be when you're feeling a little more awake.
Best.

" Just a thought - could it be that at 4am the roads allow a slightly more "sportier" journey than at tea-time? Could this make it seem a harder ride? "
errm , yes it is bit sportier ride on the way home
