Default warrenty question

WRX STI MY03

Anyone know if i can put non subaru discs and pads on without dealer voiding warrenty???? Got 20k service coming up. Dont want them turning round after ive done it, if i can do it, any thoughts???

You should be alright, Subaru are quite tolerant to small mods like that. What definitely invalidates the Warranty is an ECU remap!

The only bits affected would be discs....as long as they didn't cause a problem with anything else, such as calipers etc.

Shouldnt be an issue..But it always depends on the dealer on the day.

Subaru and all manufacures state that any mods MAY void the warranty.

I would have a quiet word. Most garages would tell you that any subsequent claims appertaining to wheels/dics/brakes/calipers/driveshafts may be affected.

Why not have your service and then change them?

Most helpful, i'll get the service done then change them. Deal with the problem at next service, by which time the warrenty will nearly be out and i can go for the tsl 333 ;-)
