Default Central locking packed up.Help anyone!!!

My central locking on MY96WRX has packed up,i checked battery in fob, shows correct voltage, but i changed it anyway.
Also the bleeping noise you get when the keys are left in ignition and a door is open,is there when you take the key out of the ignition too.
Any ideas anyone?
Can anyone tell me where the central locking module within the car is?

Thanks

Do a search, Black box in the passenger glove box area is normally the culprit.
