am thinking of selling my uk integra type R to get some sort of uk impreza turbo.

I had a look at a R reg(R333 CRG i think) terzo at a garage in manchester

the genral condition of car was ok

just it had 125 or 126k
wheels where badly curbed
and odd tyres all round!

just wondered if anyone else had looked at it or seen it about.

the price was 6795 which i personally thought was a bit much.

also it did not seem any quicker than my type r(which is modified tho)

i ve heard alot of bad things about the engines going bang in imports.is that right??

i have had no problem with engine but had two gearboxes in two years i have friends who have all got imports no engine trouble some people like them some dont i only see one down side insurance plus a tracker but all depends on your age but they are better cars hands down

 

My fist scoobs was a 1995 wrx wagon, import. i did 80,000 miles in 3 years and the only thing to go wrong was a speedo cable broke and a ht lead. I also had it modded like all my cars since and ran it on 97 ron. I now have a 01 v7 sti wagon jap import. recently did a tour of france and spain no bother and much better than uk models, good luck.
