Default Blob eye/Bug eye or later version?

In the market for an Sti MY 2002 or newer?. Find the blob/bug lights with their elliptical profile rather pleasing to the eye (unlike most according to what I have read) as opposed to the 'cloned' later lights, why are all newish model car lights (almost) like this? My present car is a Fiat Coupe 20VT and you can't say a ny other car looks like one of these, lights and all else. Love/hate but I love the shape and individuality. Also don't like the flattish profile of the MY3 and newer bonnet. So I think I am deciding on looking for a 2002 Sti. These should be the cheapest on ofer and are coming to the end of their 3 year warranty, so looking for a bargain. Any comments, but please read my other thread?

Your not alone Love mine to bit's limited Edition run aswell As you say most getting near the 3year mark, UK spec ones if PPP'd etc, like mine, will go and extend the Warranty

I do prefer the looks of mine but the Handling improvements on the MY05 are awesome so I'll overlook it's ugliness LOL

Enjoy

I agree with STI7PPP - The MY02STI is dreadfull without PPP, but fantastic with it.
