Question Anyone with a WRX classic do me a favour?

Mods, please leave this where it is for a while to give me a better chance of a response, cheers.

I'm gonna put a rear wash-wipe on my UK car. I have all the bits, but need someone to have a look at their WRX classic import car and tell me the answer to a query, if poss?

Could you have a look in the boot, under the rear shelf, and tell me what the single, forward bolt on the wiper motor is bolted to please? I know the rear most two are bolted to captive nuts on the edge of the rear shelf, but can't see what the front one, the one with a rubber sleeve on the wiper motor bracket, would bolt to. I'm wondering if I'll have to make up a bracket?

Thanks to anyone who responds, in advance,

Alcazar

Talizman did this mod to his UK car, if you get no joy here it might be worthwhile sending him a PM and asking.

Id suggest that you buy the rear glass from a non specialising breaker too; where it will cost **** all.... A breaker specialising in Scoobies will charge much more.

Default In a bit

I have taken some photos, will put them up after tea.

The bolt goes in to a captive nut the same as the back ones. The metal work under the parcel shelf might be different from a UK car?.

Thumbs up

Cheers for that, Mooncat, very helpful.

It shows that the front metalwork is NOT present on my car, so will need fabricating, and also that the two rear bolts are through rubber shock absorbing grommets too.

Thanks for your help.
