Default Will an Impreza engine fit straight into a legacy?

If so, what sort of money can engines be had for and what wiring etc do I need and anything else you think I should know?

dpends on ages of cars/engines.............an early WRX engine will drop straight into a single turbo legacy with no probs, just need the impreza coilpacks and use the legacy ancillaries

Yep they do, my mate put an STI Ra engine straight in complete with box suspepension and diffs, no probs.
