As per the title can either year be remapped. I should add theat I am taking a Sport ECU not WRX.

MY96 Turbo one can have a chip mapped and then fitted, MY97 cannot easily.

You might do best to source a cheap standard Turbo ecu and see if the wiring are the same and if it plugs in.. you are fitting a turbo engine is a Sport iirc..?

 

Nope, thats NWS thats doing the sport / turbo conversion.
