whinning rear axle?
Hi,
I wonder if anyone can help? The back end has started whinning on my 94 4wd estate. I've kicked the wheels pretty hard and it doesn't strike me that it is a wheel bearing. So I just wondered if there is a known common problem where I could look first? Whines from about 30mph on, doesn't really get any louder with speed, nor on left or right corners, acc or decel.
Cheers,
Glen.

, Normally loading the bearings up during cornering will cause the noise to change so helping pinpoint which side is at faultDean
