Default Leaking coolant??

When I pulled over in my 1997 WRX STI Type-R i noticed white smoke coming out from the front of the engine bay. Never a good thing
All the guages looked normal, engine temp, oil pressure, oil temp etc.

When i popped the bonnet i saw there was this green liquid sprayed in the engine bay, just around the area behind the driver side headlamp.
It looked to me that it had come from the aircon condenser, but not too sure.

Any ideas what it could be?

I've just had the exact same problem on my UK MY97, it turns out the radiator has a tiny hair-line crack on the front of the plastic tank on that side. When I rev it maually when looking into the engine bay you can see it spraying out. I've covered the area in pipe-join sealant for now untill I get a new rad.

Just met up with a mate who also has a scooby. It looks like i'm missing a cap thing that sticks up from the left side of the condenser. God knows how it came off!!
