Ok I have killed by Gearbox 5 Speed (uk300 My01 Bug eyed)
I am running 285Bhp with 310 lb.ft . Do any of you know what options I have to upgrade or is it going to be a strata forward rebuild of the old box.
I idea of price would be nice if any of you can help.

 

Various Options..

6 Speed Box if you can find one £1500 - £2500

PPG gearkit to go in your 5 speed case, straight cut or helical gears, synchro or dog options available. You can also mix and match. Not sure on price but it will be in the thousands rather than hundreds. I will get you a price for the kit if you like.

Rebuild your existing box, but if your after more power at a later date not a valid option and the fact that you have already broke it once doesnt make this the best option.

P20SPD has a secondhand / low mileage MY00 5 speed box for sale @ £600

The 6 speeder is the only real option as you get a big advantage at re sale with such a trans as well as the obvious strength.
