Alignment getting knocked out
Hi Guys
Anyone any idea whether hitting a large ripple in the road (caused by tree roots under the surface) at right angles to it can knock the alignment out.
Hit a few fair sized lumps today in rapid succession at about 50mph.
Car tracks ok in a straight line but wonder whether it's worth getting the alignment checked.
Wonderful road maintenance we have in this country eh
Thanks

Tell me about it!
I would have thought that to affect the vehicle tracking, one wheel would have to take a hefty thump in order to do any damage. Two tyres hitiing a bump (on the same axle), would do more damage to the suspension, but that would be one hell of a tree root
