Try doing a search on VF28. It should give yousome usefull results.

Hi guys!

I'm in South Africa and have recently got myself a MY00 Turbo.

Yesterday I had the SA spec 91 octane (we used to only have 91 unleaded in Johannesburg!) Unichip removed from my car (it was installed in error as the 2000 spec cars now run happily on 93 - which was recently introduced) - so the car is now running beautifully. There is less lag, the low rev response is awesome, and now I feel a shove in the back in the first three gears (rather than the first two!).

Anyhow - chatting to some fellow nutters over here has got me thinking of other simple mods that can give me real benefits.

I'm considering replacing the standard turbo with a VF28 turbo (STi spec?) - thoughts?

Oh yes, I'm having a the Prodrive upgrade fitted today - can't wait!
