as above realy a few weeks ago i decided to vent my breathers to atmosphere cos i now only use it on the weekends i dont pay much attention to things anymore however today when i looked under the car there is white gunge comeing out of the pipes checked the pipes at the engine end and all seems fine seems it's only in the last couple of inches of pipe any reasons for this or do i start to panic (yes it was after a good drive out before anyone asks if it's been started lol)

 

Mine does the same. I presume that it's because there's no 'suction' from the inlet pipe/manifold to them any more so the fumes are travelling more slowly and cool and condense in the pipe before they get to the catch can. My can collects a surprising amount of water, too. One way round it might be to route the pipes to the catch can and then back to the original connection point on the inlet so that the can is in line and doesn't vent to atmo. I'm thinking about doing that to mine for the winter.
