Just been offered a paltry £6500 in Part exchange for my car but would prefer to sell to someone who appreciates it rather than a dealer who will sell it on for £8k.

It would have probably gone if the insurance companies had given potential buyer a decent quote with a sensible excess
But I have still got it.

Did I get the cheapest insurance in the country ???
£660 37yrs old, £250 excess full ncd Nig skandia ????

 

If you really need to sell and the dealers are being a pain, stick the car in a auction with a £5750 reserve and hope it makes over £6k (which it would on the right day!). It is fairly easy to do and saves hassle of private buyers.
