Exhaust replacement
I'm looking at replacing my standard exhaust system on a MY98 Impreza Turbo.
I know the standard system has 2 CAT's, to pass the MOT what needs to be replaced/kept?
Thanks

As long as you leave one cat on you should de ok. Downpipe cat harder to remove and costs more but will give a better power increase. Centre smaller increase in power but piece of pi*s to fit. Can get stainless straight through centres for as little as £60.

Magnex do them. I got mine from halfords. Resonated centre is about £120 and straight through pipe is about £60. Bloody good quality for the money as
well.
That only goes for classics. Dont know about later cars.
