Well to help your cause, I had one before the scoob and they are cracking cars if you don't mind the looks.

I think your price is a bit high given the mileage, mine went for about that a year ago with 45k on it...

Cheers

Thumbs up

Simes,
Cheers for the words of encouragement, I totally agree that the're underrated and after driving company diesels for ages mine was the perfect car for making the transition to a high performance car.

As for the price, well you've got to be optimistic and I expect to be knocked down a bit anyway.

Just out of interest, how did you manage to get rid of yours (private or trade) and what do you drive now?

Regards

Dave

Hi Dave

Mine went almost exactly a year ago for 5500 as trade in but I reckon I would have got about another 500 or so privately, so to save the hassle I went for the trade in.

I was quite sad to see it go as I was very fond of it, but...

I've now got a PPP'd MY99 5 door scooby

Incidentally, for those that don't know, the Almera always used to come second in tests to the Pug 306 GTI, mainly due to the image, but at the time was 4 grand cheaper, better specced, and a lot more reliable.

Anyway good luck with selling it, are you planning on getting a scoob?

Cheers

Simon

Looking at Nissan 200sx's at the moment, I'd love a scoob but for the reg/miles I'm after I'm about3 grand short so I'm going to have to wait another year and get a really nice Scoob that I can hang on to for a while.

Thanks for the positive comments though, the cheques in the post!!
