Default Rocker cover gaskets

Question can i re-use the rocker cover gaskets if i use sealent on them as i have had to change the head gaskets or do you have to renew them i will clean the surfaces up with de-greaser first , any thoughts

for the price of replacements, I'd buy new (IMHO)

It's best to renew them, the old ones get hard and brittle. I've just replaced mine and i used a bit of instant gasket on the lower half as well (just to be sure)

Definately buy new and all the seals for the bolts without fail!

A subaru maechanic from here tried re-using a couple of the ones on the bolts and it leaked again. None too happy.
