Moving on from my sti panel filter to an induction kit as i will be fitting a fmic. I don't run with the maf as i have a map based ecu. What would be my options on my '95 sti 2 as i know i cannot get an APS cold air kit for this year of car.

What makes the apexi better than say a big universal K&N fitment?

 

apexi has two metal mounting arms and is totally dry not even a bit of oil well compared to k+n its much better, dry - no oil to damage maf! 2 mounts - helps stop the vibration from damaging the maf!

So the apexi is the one to have for best airflow and design? And if it is where can i get hold of one?

 

I have a HKS Mushroom, don't know if its the best, but sounds good and i've hadno problems with it.
With a fmic in place and no need for the top mount, is it possible to have cold air for the induction kit fed from the bonnet scoop?
