I'm new to the Impreza world, and am about to purchase my first one. I was thinking about a WRX 4-door about a '95. I've read up on model histories, but on this board I keep seeing reference to MY96, MY97 etc. I can't find any reference to these, so would be very appreciative if someone could explain how these fit in with the models I know, ie Turbo, WRX, WRX STIs etc.

MY standards for model year, and not type, so you could get a MY99 Turbo or a MY99 Sport.
