Opinions please
Put up a post a while back regarding fuel cut, anyway I put the car in for an oil and filter change today.
Got a stainless filter to replace the crumpled K&N and a HKS boost gauge so atleast I can see what its doing now.
The guy who worked on the car said he thinks he knows why im getting fuel cut, he thinks my actuator(spelling??) is goosed, and its allowing the boost to creep up beyond its pre designated point thus inducing fuel cut or words to that effect.
I dont know im not the least bit technical, dose this make sence to those of you that are.
Thanks

It's a possibility, though if you have an airfilter and exhaust it's also possible that you're spooling up quicker and getting fuel cut before the ECU can get a handle on things.
Alternatively it's possible you have a small vacuum leak.

A dodgy actuator would allow too much boost leading to fuel cut. BUT go out with your boost gauge and see what boost levels you are getting. Is it a 93 wrx? If so fuel cut is 1.1 Bar AFAIK.
Yeah it is a 93 WRX and it dose also have a full power flow system. And the fuel cut is happening around 1.1 bar.
At least with the gauge i can try to keep it under 1.0 bar and avoid it.
Might be worth ordering an actuator anyway.
Thank for your replies guy's

Fit a manual boost controller to limit the boost to 1.05bar.. you can also test the actuator I believe, but not 100% sure how as never had to try it.
