hi folks, on the power steering pump there is a wire at the back of it that goes to a grey connector.
well my problem is that the ps fluid is squirting out through where the wire connects to the pump.
common sense tells me not to drive the car, but would you say that i need a new ps pump, or is it possible to replace the wire?

any help would be much appreciated, thanks in advance

oh well, i have had it looked at, and it is deffinately a new pump, the guy from powerstation said that he hadn't heard of the fluid coming out through the wire before, so atleast i have achieved something, lol.

My 93 wrx has a wire at the back it is an earth wire , mine leaked too , strip pump down and wire comes out on a rubber gromet i aroldited it back in place and rebuilt pump back up with new o rings and gasket sealer cost a couple of quid that was over 12 months ago .
