Any one heard of them, any good, safe??

 

Saw them on ebay, i was tempted but then i thought that they looked a bit oily? I dunno really.

yep, thats where i saw them. I have had one before (on my last car) and it seemed OK, but as i have just bought a spanking new MY04 i'm a little bit more cautious. To be honest, it didn't seem oily at all, very dry infact. I have been on www.syms.jp, but i can't find them, but they seem a fairly professinal outfit, but you can't go by websites alone

 

Perhaps its like the STI panel filters, if it is i'd be tempted i must admit, i just don't want to have to replace yet another MAF!

I got one off Ebay, came in a Pipercross branded jiffy bag..............
So now you know who makes them.
Seems fine, by the way.

 

thats strange mine came with japenese writing not in piper cross jiffy bag symms is a japenese airfilter company and are not maed by pipercross it should be green in colour with the word symms on the front and its green sponge filter
