Model/Type Codes for Impreza Transmissions/Gearboxes and Rear Differentials

Where can I find a good and accurate list of model/type codes for impreza transmissions/gearboxes and rear differentials, including the information such as gear ratios and final drives and other details?

yes...good site for this kinda info...is it accurate?

but no codes for rear diffs stated in there or the code is actually A, B, C, so on stamps on the rear diff casing...???

Very Accurate, I use it all the time - Ken knows his stuff.

Diffs are another problem; Best to take out the filler plug mark a tooth with tippex or paint and count the teeth.

Uk 4 door car it will be 3.545:1.

Import car could be 3.9:1 - 10x39, 4.1:1 - 9x37, or 4.4:1 - 9x40 on a GC8
